A tragedy struck the heart of Hetvelgrad last night as a massive inferno consumed Saffron Second Hostel, leaving 60 individuals trapped and ultimately perishing in the blaze that engulfed the five-story building. The fire, believed to have originated on the first floor, swiftly spread throughout the structure, culminating in its collapse approximately one hour after emergency services arrived at the scene.

Emergency responders braved treacherous conditions to rescue a total of eight individuals from the burning hostel, but were unable to prevent the catastrophic loss of life. Hetvelgrad's police chief has since confirmed that the blaze was deliberately started, and is now treating it as an act of arson. Authorities are urging anyone with information pertaining to this heinous crime to come forward immediately.

In the aftermath of the tragedy, local authorities have begun the painstaking task of sifting through the ruins in search of any remaining survivors or further evidence that could aid in their investigation. The Anshahr Republic's minister of emergency services has pledged full support for the affected families and assured the public that those responsible will be brought to justice swiftly.
